With more than 50,000 recorded earthquakes for the past several weeks, Icelanders have been bracing themselves for a volcanic eruption in the Reykjanes peninsula, located only 40 kilometres (25 miles) from Reykjavík.
On March 18th Iceland opens it's borders to all travellers that have been vaccinated by approved vaccination by the EU or travellers that can prove they have antibodies, without quarantine or any restrictions.
Getting an award is always such a treat and we are so fortunate since we not only received one award, but two when our hotel and restaurant received the ever so hard to get Tripadvisor Travelers´ Choice Award. We can't be more proud!
