If you prefer the classical music scene, then you are in luck since we have the most wonderful symphony orchestra in Iceland. 

Founded in 1950, the orchestra has performed at various international festivals and concert halls around the world.  

The symphony orchestra performs every month at Harpa and offers a mixture of the good old classical classics to temporary music - and all that is in between.
